Default Mod

Check back on the first page of this thread. I put the reverse mod instructions with the headlight mod. No relay- just two wires, connectors, and a toggle switch.

If you just splice the two wires together it will work but then the yellow override button will not work to scroll through the speedo display functions.

I'll try and post some pics this week. If you are using a standard round toggle(what I used) then a drill bit will do it. If you get a flat toggle(like the rear work light) look on the inside of the upper headlight pod near the bottom left corner. There are some indented spots for them. Just score it with a blade until it goes through and trim to fit.

I bought a toggle and it says that there is a pin for the battery and one for the load. I would guess that the load will be the brown wire and the battery one will be the other wire you talked about??????????
