Default 2 fuel lines

Can anyone tell me how the two fuel lines coming out of a atv go back in? I have a 04 Sportsman 600 and I pulled them last night and Im sitting here at working wondering how they go back in. When I pulled them there was this filter unit that came out of the tank on both sides and it has a big rubber washer on it, do they just push back up in? how do they make a tight seal??

Parts 9, 10, 11 and 12 should be what you have pulled out.

There is a small spring clamp that goes on the hose to keep it on the fitting. (part #10)

I know the picture doesn't show two lines, but it has a better image of what you should have pulled out.
