Default 2006 Sportsman 500 EFI starting problem.

I'll just tell it the way it happened, since I have no technical knowledge..lol.

Last week I started the atv to drive it on a trailer, after a 30 minute drive I started it again to drive it of the trailer, no problem.
Then shut it of again and after 10 minutes it wouldn't start, there was just a click. It started with the pull cord with just one pull.
The idling revs were lower until we had been driving for a while. We drove for about an hour and shut it off, after about 20 minutes it started without a problem, the idling revs were lower again though.

Long story, but does anyone know what the problem can be?

Thanks!

Here's an update:

I started it today, no problem. It hadn't been running since I parked it last week!

Any thoughts?

i have had that problem with some atv's. most of the time the battery has enough juice in it to show the display on the screen but it doesn't have enough juice in it to starter the motor so it just clicks. make sure the battery is charged and i dont no about the idiling problem
