Default 2006 Sportsman 800 Electrical Issues

I have a 2006 Sportsman 800 that is not charging. It has a new battery and has 12.5 volts running. I have checked for visual wiring concerns and none are present. Any suggestions?

9 out of 10 times it's a bad regulator. You can do a general test on the yellow wires from the stator leading to the regulator. All should have some resistance between each other and no yellow should short to ground. If this checks out just order a new regulator. Located at the front of the machine by the radiator. #39.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Cheapest I've found on ebay is an aftermarket Procom. You might check amazon also.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Procom-ESR819-Regulator-rectifier-Polaris-Sportsman-700-800-Atv-4011100-/311368210200?hash=item487efdd718&vxp=mtr
