Default rebuild kit

where can I find a rebuild kit for a 02 325 magnum. The piston slap is getting bad at low idle and I want to tear it down this winter and rebuild. And no it's not the clutch buttons. Is it worth it? The quad is in excellent shape, just alot of miles on the old girl.

When you tear down be sure to have the crank and rod checked for wear! I had some problems with a few early 325's on rod bearing wear and piston seizure problems. Sounds like yours is just needing a good going through! Being worth it is entirely up to you. A lot of the things you can do yourself, but let someone experienced look at the crank (oversize rod bearings available) and the cylinder/piston. Make sure you have cylinder/ piston clearance correct if you have it bored. Clearance is very tight!! Around .002 MAX. Good luck OPT

Yah. I'm going to do most of the work myself, but I'll take it in to have clearances and what not look over. Where can I find kits for this project? Or am I going to have to buy seperate parts for this. It would probably be much cheaper if I get everything in one package. Another question. How different is it to work on these small engines vs. large truck engines. I can strip a cummins or cat down to the block and back together again no problem but I've never pissed with small engines before. I will assume it's relativley the same just a much smaller scale.

Polaris, like Honda,Suzuki, etc sell each part separately,no complete kits. Lot of after market kits for some of the smaller atv's and such, but I'm not aware of aftermarket kits for the 325? Maybe some of the other posters can help. Good luck OPT
