I have the Bike in the title that i have just bought. It didnt have a battery so the guy started it with the pull start to show me it would run. So i get it home and but a brand new battery for it and put it on and when i hook up the battery it idles differently and when i go to give it throttle it bogs down and back fires and dies. If the battery is unhooked it will run fine for the most part.
what should i do to diagnose this promblem.
Thanks Daniel

Try first by pulling black wire from reverse limiter module located under front cover. BAD idea on starting with no battery, eventhough you can.Voltage has to go somewhere from the regulator/ rectifier and takes the easiest path:lights, modules, etc and can blow them out. Sounds like its limiting when battery connected?
