Man what you talking about? That arctic cat is ugly, it has got to be the worst looking atv sold.I got to say if you can afford the best buy a sportsman h.o. If not buy one of the inferior machines.

tractors are slow too. but they pull like hell. as far as looks, who gives a rat's ***. i didn't buy it for its looks. these things are designed for work and play in very inhospitable environs not cruising the strip.

check the forum buddy, you don't see as many problems as on the polaris page. (by the way its plagued not plaged.) that's the main reason i chose the cat, less upkeep and repair than pullaris.

polarisman3210,

great reply. we share the same views. actually ac and polaris should be more friendly towards each other after all they are both manufactured in minnesota and in competition with the foreign makes.

My PolarCat is better than your...oops wrong forum. I've never ridden an AC yet but I can pretty well tell they both have different characteristic(?) differences that are alot different than different machines available at different dealers in different parts of the world... Ahhhh! I give up, I can't even spell correctly to-night.

I ride an AC500. Family and friends ride Polaris. I'm a big fan of both. These two brands should stick together. I mean think about it we're the black sheep. These are both top quality machines, but think about how many times you have been ragged about your quad because it was an AC or Polaris. Us black sheep should stick together

I rode my buddies AC,the only things I did'nt care for was the rocker shifter and it seemed like it needed another gear for the top end.I still had fun riding it though,

And this years award for "The Prettiest Quad" goes to... HOsoulman and his Sportsman with blue neon lights, suede seat, cup holders, gold wire wheels, white wall tires, and carbon fiber dash panel.

Does the HO stand for High Output or Garden Tool?
