Question Engine Oils

Hey i was just wondering what you guys are using for engine oil in your machines?? I was thinking about maybe going to something different but not sure what i should try. All i have used is polaris oil and was wondering if there was something better than that? Thanks

Amsoil all the way. Have used it since 1982. They have an ATV line. AMSOIL - Synthetic Oil, Motor and Engine Oil, Lubricants, Air Filters, Oil Filters and Greases

For $38 to to do the front/rear diffs and tranny, why bother looking for other oils? I just did mine and all 3 fluids are not the same. And with what I have left over Im sure I can the front/rear 2 more times and the tranny once more.

Just stick with the Polaris brand stuff in my opinion. The Mobile one and other brands do not save you much for the engine when you are only buying 2 qts at a time. Now working with heavy equipment were it takes 11 gallons for the engine then it pays off to look around, but 2 qts isn't worth going away from Polaris brand lubricants.

Default Oil

Obviously Polaris doesn't make oil, I figure they are probably using Mobil.. For me its the convenience factor.. When Im ready to change do I run to the dealer or to Autozone.. The Autozone is just down the street.. The dealer is 20 minutes away.. The thing about buying the Polaris kit is it comes with your filter, and everything you need for an oil change.

I use polaris for the diffs. and tranny, and then I recently switched to Mobil 1 0W-40, and a Napa Gold (Wix) filter
