ok so after taking the gas tank off and the front plastics I have the rocker cover off and the whole gasket is nice a rounded out except for at the bottom its flat as it could be you cant even tell there is a gasket by running your finger over it. The cover itself looks fine to me, no cracks in the plastic doesn't really look warped, it looks pretty straight and flat all around. Someone had suggested using some sorta silicone to seal it? But I think i might only need the gasket, the breather valve up top is shot but thats an easy fix.

What do you mean by "glazed" ?

ok so atv is all back together and it was the rocker cover gasket. I had to take the front plastics off and the gas tank which made the job so much better, took me 2 days with doing it when i could but it looks good and dry now!
