Default need help tuning the mikuni tm34

2003 polaris trailblazer 400 - came with a few extras ,
hsp clutch kit , v-force reeds , full dg exaust , .

my biggest problems right now is that there is a the big delay between letting off the gas and the engine speed actually slowing down . sometimes but not always this will create a engine brake type of feeling .also studders at wide open throttle . i could use some new ideas because i have wasted plenty of time and $$$ thinking it was just the clutches needing to be rebuilt . as far as i know the jets are stock but i will be checking that later today when i clean the carb up . it was running great last year so can anyone tell me what i should run for a jet or is the stock one ok?

Default minkuni problems

hey i have a trailblazer 250 with bored out piston and hsp pipe and i went to put on a minkuni 35mm tmx flatside and it was running way too rich and when i hit the throttle in gear it would just puts along i beleive that the main jet is too big i checked and its was a 340 so i am going to change it to a 210 my stock carb has a 155 so its still a jump i will let you know what that does for me and why dont you check to see what size your main jet is later

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

You need to start with a 270 main jet and go down until it runs smooth on topend then check the plug for a nice tanto brown color.
The HSP clutch kit has a high engagement so learn to live with it.You get used to it quickly.I would also ditch the DG exhaust and get the HSP that matches the clutch kit.
