My dealer sold me a set of ITP wheels SS212's, he said that the X2 has a specific rim, and ITP makes only the 212's and the 312's. I have the rims now, when I put the rim on, the tapered studs position the wheel, with the steel wheel the center hub positons it, all the weight and holding power is now on the studs, is this RIGHT????

 

if i understand the question right,then yes the studs do hold the weight just any other. imo

 

Thanks Stendori, I did take the wheel off my XP and it wasn't centered by the hub either, I'm just used to automotive stuff where the axle/hub does center the wheel, wanted to make sure they sent me the right wheels before I mount the tires
