Radiator protection

None of those in the links that I see will total protect your radiator. The pictures show no protection to the side of the radiator.

I for one am VERY happy to see that the new XP models have the Radiator up-high. It's such a more sensible location!

This is true but the stock xp still has no protection on the side of the radiator from sticks and brush IMO.

There were some on ebay for $50 a while ago, and I thought about buying one, but I didn't

UTU,

Can you flip the Rock guard where the U shape opening is on the top Vs. the bottom? Seems like IF you could it would provide a little better bottom protection on the RAD unless if the RAD needs to breath more there?

I just picked up a Jamhard(looks just like the other rockguard link) off ebay and the expanded metal is thicker. Nice that they made them so you can still hook up a plow but I don't like the exposed area on the bottom. Gonna pick up a piece of expanded metal and ziptie it on the bottom when I'm not plowing so the radiator is 100% protected.

yeh R' if you look on here, there is some way of mounting it upside down, the protects the bottom more
