Default Leaking oil??/

Ok so about 2 months ago I changed the water pump and I the only thing I didnt change was the gasket and I just noticed that there was a little fresh oil dripping from around the pump so i wiped it up but it looks like its been doing this for a few weeks. Its the only place that looks like this, take a look at the pic and let me know what you guys think.

thanks

did the gasket get ripped or distored causing it not to seal. bolts i'm assuming are tight? just wondering if it will get worse and you will have to fix the leak before something esle happens. just a thought

In the picture it looks like the oil starts leaking up higher to the left.Do you have excess to a black light this might give you a better look where it is leaking oil.

If you didnt change the oil seal behind the waterpump seal could possibly be the problem. The weep hole is a center spot for coolant and oil indication if either seal is bad. Sometimes hard to see oil leaking when waterpump seal is bad also. OPT

What you are seeing up higher is just grease thats come off the drive shaft and has splattered around.
