It's America...we are cheap MF's.....we want a Porsche for the price of a Escort.........

This is why I don't feel sorry for some people. PROFIT is what keeps this country moving, no matter how bad you hate to let someone else have some.
So you paid sticker price on all your atvs and your truck?

I managed to get $1500 off the price of my 2010. Basically sold it to me for less than an '09 at the time.

I don't think anyone charges or pays MSRP on anything except video games. I pay what they want though, within reason. A dealer close to me was at $250 under retail on the XP when it first came out. That was the highest price I saw, and they are the second biggest dealer in the state.

Just wasn't sure by the post whether you were for it or against it.

Hard to tell sometimes on the internet.

i just thought about this. everyone wants to make a deal to get something at a lower price. but if it was you selling the item you want to get the most for it. so you wouldnt budge i bet. not only just selling something, but hrly wage, or doing something for someone. its life. and the main thing for life going round is can you guess what?

MONEY

its how the world goes round. it feels good to know you saved some money. but these are the reasons everything is made over seas... so the mfg can make it cheaper, and sell it higher. there getting cheaper, and cheaper by the yr. but the price keeps going up. id like to know what it really costs to make an atv via the mfg costs. or anything for that matter.

I always buy used with very low miles. Let someone else take the hit.

I think I got a good deal. I paid $8,100 OTD on my 850XP. They couldn't budge but did give me sweet deals on all my x-tras.

Yes! I actually contacted nearly 20 dealers in my immediate area and surrounding states and asked them to give me there best price. One, locally as it so happens, came back with an unbelievably low price. I did the math and found his mistake. When I called him on it, he acknowledged he had mispriced the quote but they be willing to negotiate. I got my 850xps for around $8k out the door and I know they still made money but I got a good price so was happy. Haggle everything....dealers make money and it's your job to minimize that....haha.....
Cheers,
cc
