I thought of one more thing:

NEVER pay doc or set-up fees. Those fees are bogus and is just extra profit for the dealer.

Every Manufacturer pays the Dealer time to preform the Pre-Delivery Inspection. In fact, most also pay for a FULL TANK OF GAS.

"Doc fee" is for the dealer to type-up your paperwork. I tell them "NO WAY! Show me to the office and I will type my own paperwork!" Then like magic the fee disappears!

My favorite? The shipping fees. Ok, I realize that my kfx had to be shipped from Japan, but that should be included in the msrp and not something you add in later.

Hey, if I get cheese from Wisconsin, they don't add shipping charges at the register for it, it's already included in the price.

Lets face it it's a cat and mouse game there isn't much mark up on power toys so they all play the same game shipping, doc and prep so when you come in you can feel good about knocking them down on the price and they sell the toy and make something. But if you don't play the game then you just made a salesman a big commission and you payed more than you should of.

i use the internet for our advantage is pricing out differnt items and finding what i want for the best price i can get. nobody is going to sell you anything w/out making some profit. i figure some people will pay full price, but i'm not one of them. lol

I just called my local dealer. Been craving and 850 eps. Even though im a 3-peat customer, would only do $9799 on an 10. i guess that isnt bad on a new machine, but he didnt offer anything else up, winch, extended warrenty, nothing.
