RichiecNJ,
Not trying to tell ya what to do, but I would give HAROLD a call down at Ridersville. His price is wholesale and at cost. Plus 10-20% on accessories. He has taken care of me, friends and family.
Believe me I know I am a MARYLANDER! I know all about Pete's. Go to Ridersville!

I can vouch for HAROLD at Ridersville also. He's a great guy and has the best prices around. He really stands behind what he sells too! I'm in VA and it's worth the trip up and over to WV to deal with Harold. I bought my SP 500 back in 99 from him and have bought several KTM's from him over the years.

Not with EPS. I didn't want it. I think the steering is loose enough without it. This 850XP doesn't even have the front tires on the ground when I hit the throttle! And when moving any speed it turns with ease. Enjoy the extra fuel capacity you get without it and save the money of not fixing it in the future...IMO...Jeff

YES YOU CAN! I will tell ya from experience alot of the local MD dealers don't like Ridersville because they have CUT into their business and I have heard that they loose as much as 40% of their business on Polaris ATV's, Side-by-Sides and VICTORY motorcyles.
I guess he is like the WALMART of the Polaris dealers offering a large selection with the BEST competitive prices. He also carries Kaw,KTM,Can-Am and I think may own the Honda dealership on the second part of their property. They claim to be the Nations #1 Polaris dealer and has out sold everybody. He has a good thing going.
The way I did my math to see if 2 1/2 hrs trip was worth my while was add up the round trip gas cost and then tack that on to the MD prices plus tax.
With his prices you get non-tax, no registration required, and whole sale to cost prices. Pluse a 10-20% on all OEM accessories and parts.
Ya got to do whats best for you but when I compared my options that places has WON hands down. No place around can compete. And the minute I ventured out I got BURNED big time. I really really hate to say it but our MD ATV-Off road dealer SUCK! Especially those who carry Polaris to boot. The sales people, the owners, the service techs. I can't stand all the dealings I had with them, as to why me and tons of friends and family have went to WVA to buy and give them our business. They in-turn have been great to all of us (ride party) with service too! I highly recommend them! I will continue to purchase parts etc. from them and when I am ready to buy another Polaris ATV it will be from them!
