Most any small town does not have any forgein dealer in it as far as vehicles or ATVs, because they would not sell there.

I seem to remember my grandfather calling them japs. Some called them nips. But I guess they should have been more politically correct and called them eastern asians with a strong possibility of having japanese heritage.

Next time your standing out on a front line, just see how well that works to relay any information to your fellow platoon members.
Firstly my friend, I find nothing particularly offensive about opinions. I am not a politically correct fool that is ignorant about the MOSTLY harmless nature of words. And of course, those that faught the Japanese in WW2 have my greatest admiration and I would give allowances for them to use the term 'Jap'. However, In this day and age, and with keeping in mind that I'm sure a few here on this board are of Japanese relation or having friends that are, using the insulting term 'Jap' is innapropriate and without merit. Then, when of all people, an administrator tells me to basically 'watch what I say'.....well, that really takes the cake. Japanese bashing seems to be the accepted norm on many vehicle websites these days....at least in the so-called 'American made' brand forum sections. Look, I'm as pro-American, pro-caucasion as you can pretty much get....but insulting possible forum members is harmful.
Just my two cents......and I am sorry for taking this thread off track.

When does your statement become non-insulting.

I'm pro-caucasion (proud of my own German heritage....anything wrong with that?), pro-Japanese (I admire their work ethics, inventions, and culture) and pro-Mexican (my girlfriend is from there and has opened my eyes to how wonderful her cultural background is).
I don't understand your question about being 'insulting' nor have I stated I was anti-anything. Perhaps you should direct your critical nature toward those that actually are???

I think the warning he was giving you was in regard to the response you may get in the form of an comedic (or not) insult.

As for comparing jap to the "n" word, I'm pretty sure when the japs came over in December, it wasn't by force, and it wasn't for them to work here.

Don't expect me to be PC. Not that way in real life, not gonna pretend to be someone on a computer.

Fine....we'll leave it at that and try and stay on track with ATV discussion here. I will say one thing about the Japanese....we DID pay the militarists and innocent civilians back with two atomic bombs you know. I think we are more than even now. Getting over and past WW2.... especially for the victors, should not take 60 years.
Just my opinion.

Good I'm glad we have amends, Now back to the real interesting threads here in the forum. IE: including the proper way to slit a half dead deer throat.

I have heard that drowning a half dead deer can also be effective.

Having never personally done it. I do know of one person here on the Connection that has first hand experience.
