Why????????

People say their "Toyota" or "Yamaha" is made in a plant in the USA; However, all the parts for the machine comes from china and all the money (profit) that is made goes right back to china. So all you are supporting is some factory jobs and thats it. Where when you buy a Ford and their parts count is 90% USA parts and 10% Canada for their trucks you are fully supporting the USA. Most any small town does not have any forgein dealer in it as far as vehicles or ATVs, because they would not sell there.

But you find no offense in the lazy American wording. Last time I checked there was a North, Central and South America. So he was be talking about? It's ok to bash the Canadians? Heaven forbid he offend any body in Venezuela, after all, they talk so highly of us there.
I seem to remember my grandfather calling them japs. Some called them nips. But I guess they should have been more politically correct and called them eastern asians with a strong possibility of having japanese heritage.
Next time your standing out on a front line, just see how well that works to relay any information to your fellow platoon members.

Just my two cents......and I am sorry for taking this thread off track.

I'm pro-caucasion (proud of my own German heritage....anything wrong with that?), pro-Japanese (I admire their work ethics, inventions, and culture) and pro-Mexican (my girlfriend is from there and has opened my eyes to how wonderful her cultural background is).
I don't understand your question about being 'insulting' nor have I stated I was anti-anything. Perhaps you should direct your critical nature toward those that actually are???

I think the warning he was giving you was in regard to the response you may get in the form of an comedic (or not) insult.
As for comparing jap to the "n" word, I'm pretty sure when the japs came over in December, it wasn't by force, and it wasn't for them to work here.
Don't expect me to be PC. Not that way in real life, not gonna pretend to be someone on a computer.

Fine....we'll leave it at that and try and stay on track with ATV discussion here. I will say one thing about the Japanese....we DID pay the militarists and innocent civilians back with two atomic bombs you know. I think we are more than even now. Getting over and past WW2.... especially for the victors, should not take 60 years.
Just my opinion.

I have heard that drowning a half dead deer can also be effective.
Having never personally done it. I do know of one person here on the Connection that has first hand experience.
