Was out hunting today and was driving into a water hole at an angle face the front end downward and I notice a oil or gas in on top of the water after I backed up to try a different line. Where should I start checking??? And what could this of been? Thanks guys.

 

If the tank was full it could have leaked out through the fuel tank overflow.

 

^^what he said. I've had a gas smell after filling the tank all the way full. Now I stop short of topping it off to avoid spilling and smells.

 

check your over flow lines for gas coming out.

 

Yeah the tank was full and when I left it running on a flat surface there were no wet spots underneath the machine, so that angle must of caused it to loose fuel out of the overflow. Thanks guys I'll check everything over when I get the chance.

 

I had my overflow leak out when a guy at the lodge over-filled my tank..............after moving it away from the pump.........It still leaked a small amount out the overflow.......Caper.........

 

Was there oil and dirt in the skid plate from the last oil change?
