The Polaris hitch is a solid piece 1 1/4 bar stock maybe even stronger than most 2 " that are hollow . A 2" ball will bolt to the end of it .

Northern Tool and a number of ATV parts retailers offer a 2" adapter that is beefy and under $50.

The draw bar is'nt the week link, I think the 1/8" walled(or less)X 1 1/4 square tube receiver will be a problem. Maybe not, just dont't want any problems or failures

You said " Not planning on pulling alot, just a trailer full of duck/goose decoys possibly across a plowed feild " Your be fine with the stock set up , I use mine to pull my sled trailer with sled around , my yard trailer full of wood or whatever , even pulled a wood chipper a few weeks back your been fine stock . Your 800 is rated for a towing capacity of 1500 lbs .
