Default Squeky brakes 08 sportsman 800????

Hello, I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen on theirs? my brakes seems to be squeling when Im riding at slower speeds is there a fix for this? or a way to remove it?
what have others done to eliminate the problem?

Thanks, SS

well, how many miles are on your bike, could they be shot?
Also if it's harder to roll in neutral, you have a stuck caliper, or a pad that is stuck crooked, or something of that nature

Default ?????????????????????????????

I checked all of them out, rear and fronts Its comming from the fronts for sure mainly riders front left I cleaned the disks seems to be better.......Another ? though is should I be maintaining the front diff? I looked it over and it seems that maybe I should refill or? I C I need a specific zurt fitting yeah or ney? that might help the fronts run smoother. The way I see it is if there off the ground they should spin freely.................................

08 with 62 hrs of sensible riding

Thanks

My 07 500 did the same thing, so I took the pads off and used sand paper on them and also found a little stone in one of em. Just sanded them enough to get rid of any glazing. Hard breaking at high speed heats them up and gets them hot, I learned that from a couple years of late model racing. Some of the guys in the pits would take pads off and rub them on asphalt to get rid of any glazing.

thanks as far as the front end goes, unless you have any leaking going on, there should be no reason to have ro fill up the fluid. you could pull the filler plug off and check it to see if water has got in and turned the oil to the milky color, which you need to change at once, and if not just go by the manuals recommended service intervals. i think the fitting you are seeing, just guessing, is the adc bleeder screw, which you do NOT touch and i belave there is 5 grease fittings on the bike and it's alwaysa good idea to grease these after a water/mud ride to push out all the water to prevent rust and early wear. imo
