Does any body out there know where i can find a manual for the glacier plow. i bought a 2003 sportsman 700 this summer and it came with a glacier v plow. the plow is supposed to be a quick attach system and attaches up front (not sure how this is why i would like to see a manual and pics) and it also attaches in the rear to the trailer hitch. I thought i had it installed correctly but tonight when i needed it it will not plow scrape the concrete like it should because something is rubbing. any advice or similiar pics would be greatly appreciated.

 

A dealer should be able to hook you up with an instruction manual if no one here has one. I had the same type of plow on my 02 700 and if those long tubes going to the back are bent then it won't scrape. Had to put a taller wear blade on mine. Take some pics and post them so we can see what's going on with it and try to help you out.

 

any idea what the official or even approximate name would be.. I have yet to even find a pic or reference to it on the internet.

 

Probably going to have to try a dealer to see if they can help. Those older style plow mounts are rarely seen on Polaris anymore because everyone has gone to the Glacier quick-attach set-up. Looked in my cache last night but must have let the manual go with the wheeler when I sold it. It might be easier to help ID the plow/troubleshoot if you can post some pics.

 

thanks for the help. i went to the dealer and there were no help at all. they tried to sell me a new one and that was about it.. so i took it back to my dads this weekend and took it all off and found where it had split and bent in the back. fixed it and everything works good now.
