Default Old reliable is acting sick.....

Ok, so here is the story... My 2001 Xplorer 250 has always been the most dependable ATV imaginable. Always starts, always runs perfectly, doesn't set any speed records but gets there and back everytime. However, this past summer when camping the kids reported that sometimes it would bog, and not want to accelerate. I tried it and it ran fine. Then it got to where it was hard to start when warm, acted like it was flooded. This went on through the summer and the starting issue got alot worse. Then in October I rode it and the bogging issue was very obvious. So, I brought it into the shop to check it out and put the plow on it. What I discovered was that the carb was leaking fuel past the needle and seat and flooding it when warm and actually leaking through the vent when idling and dripping on the floor........Hmmm, I thought! Maybe a new carb will fix all of the problems! Well, no, it didn't. The new carb fixed the leaking on floor and hard starting when warm, but it still bogs occasionaly under wide open acceleration. Any thoughts??

check the secondary clutch buttons to see if there worn out. sometimes when this happens it acts just like it's bogging out. imo

When it acts up, it even bogs in neutral, so I do not think its a clutch issue.
