Default 05' sportsman electrical problem?

Once I exceed 2200 rpm the battery light and speedometer needle start flashing and if I give it anymore throttle it just dies. Will not restart until key is turned off then back on. Then it fires right up and does it all again. I took it in to the dealer and they replaced the ECM on a recall and figured it was the voltage regulator contained in that. Still have the problem. They said they load tested the battery and it was ok. I'm stumped

tibb79,
I am also having an issue with my 05 500sp. When i hit deeper water it will sometimes go into stutter mode and i get a hot light. Had the ecm changed a couple of years ago on the recall, this problem just started.

If you need to shut the Quad off and turn it back on to reset.....then this is still a issue with the Recall(Sure Power Module)
I am on my third one ,so just because the recall was done ,Don't think it can't fail again........I needed my Replacement REPLACED.......LOL...LOL......
Caper.........

Note:
When you turn the Quad off and back on there are Solid State Circuit Breakers inside the Module that are there for protection and this is how they are reset........
