Just like the title says. This quad only has 51 hours on it, and it appears to have good boots on the rear shafts/joints. I havent taken this thing swimming or anything, but when I am braking (especially downhill), or traversing an inclined angle, there is a clicking sound in my transmission/driveline. Appears to be mainly in the back, but I could have sworn that I heard it in the front as well.
Any thoughts? How can I diagnose joints/bearings/ect?

does it do it more when you turn the handle bars one way? check all the boots real good as to be loose or a hole in it. it doesn't take much when any water or dirt gets into a joint to ruin it. maybe jack up the bike andf check the wheels while runing and brakes as well. imo
I didn't notice it as much turning, but rather when coming to a stop. I could be rolling slightly downhill and pump the brake and hear it/feel it slightly in my footbrake.
Based on the below thread, it sounds like it is the EBS that is making the clunking/clicking noise. Also, in reading the thread, they were talking about the drain plug being too long. Could my machine be affected by this too?

the drain plug(my picture) is on the 08 800 and not sure if it effects any others but might. there is alot of drive line noise we call drive line black lash meaning becuase of the design it tends to be noisey when you put pressure on or take it off say when you take off or slow down. basicly while stopped if you rock the machine back in forth you will hear and see some of the slack i'm refering too. this does not how ever sound like a clicking noise. you may check the brakes to see it maybe a rock got stuck in between the pads or a loose pad?? like mentioned, usually a pure clicking noise is from a bad cv joint. imo
Good points. I will check into that. I guess the sound sounded more like a clunk when pumping the brake on a downhill vs a clicking noise normally found in a bad CV joint. I will try and isolate it in the garage if I can, but all of the reading regarding to the EBS and drive line slack, makes me think that the noise is this.
chnaces are it's the drive line slack your hearing as i aid the unmistakable clicking noise of a bad cv is hard to miss. the ebs braking is inthe clutching and shouldn't have any noise. imo
