Default Sporadic clunking up front whe in 4wd when steering is turned

I have a question...
When riding my scrambler in 4wd, I sometimes here a clunk
coming from something in the front when under heavy throttle and the steering
is turned to the far left or right. (Bad CV?) It doesn't do it when I'm going straight in 4wd.
Sometimes it doesn't do it all .. I just noticed today when I was riding in the deep snow and my tires were spinning. othwerwise the 4wd works great.
thx

i have a full parts machine to get parts from, i just need to know where to start.

usually a cv joint will click when they are getting bad. you will start to hear noise when the cv is under more of a load say when turning. check for a bad wheel bearing as well. it's a starting point.
