Default highbeam headlight pod light issue

so i plow snow with my wheeler. i transport it via trailer. the high beam worked this summer. but now it dont work. but with with minnesota being in a freezer, and me not haveing a heated shop. i cant really fix it. so today it was a heat wave of a high of about 5deg. i got a brand new 886 bulb yesterday. thinking it was the bulb altho a few days prior i looked at the bulb though the lense of the head light and looked good. but thinking i was wrong. i got a bulb. so today. i took the cover off the pod. broke one of the clips holding the plug on the light off. took the bulb out and tested on the low beam plug. and it worked. so its not the bulb. while the bulb was out i checked the power and ground side of the plug. power side was good. ground side but there was nothing. so theres a broken wire somewhere. anyone else has this issue on there wheeler thats about a yr and a few monthes old or so?

Chuck,

Could it be in the plug? You may want to check the ground side just before the plug.
