have a 05 scrambler -other day went out to start it, as soon as i turned the key the hot light came on and so did the fan what could cause that.I unpluged the sending unit and it was still on. could it be a bad ecm from the recall.Dont think my scramy is one of the recalled ones cant find my model # though. please help i need to ride before it snows again THANKS.

 

I don,t think the Scrambler has a ECM, maybe a bad temp sensor, if I remember right to check a fans operation you unplug the sensor and the fan will run,so what you did will not discount a bad sending unit I think.
