Secondary clutch spring
#1
I have been doing a lot of reading on these, but think I'm more confused now than I was before! I have a 300 xplorer that has big 27" tires and want to get some more low end/midrange power. From what I have read I can change the position of the spring on the driven clutch to achieve this? I had the spring set on 2-2 since I had read that a lot on here. What should I do to give it more low end/mid range. I though I read to make the spring tighter, but if I was looking at it right 2(helix) and 1(pulley) would do this? But I saw another recomendation from another member to go 1(helix) and 3(pulley) to make the take off better?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks, JOhn

Thanks for the help, I went ahead and did the 2-3 and it feels fantastic. Will almost wheelie now! I haven't had a chance to run it up on a long distance but hopefully it will be fine. Does making the spring looser give it more top end as well?
I also found this last night someone had posted:
Helix -Clutch
2-1 Tight
2-2
1-1
2-3
1-2
1-3 Loose
