I'm trying to find out if there are any other models that have fenders that will fit my 1988 Trail Boss. I've found photos of some sportsman and xplorer fenders and they look like my Trail Boss fenders but I'm not sure. I can't find anything anywhere to tell me which fenders interchange with it. I'm trying to restore it but I don't want to spend $500 on new fenders when some good used ones will fit. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for replying ftwlh. Here are the pictures of my fenders that came off my trail boss. They are faded, cracked, and held together with zip ties so I wanted replacements. I considered painting them but they always chip. I don't need anything perfect but I would like something that can clean up and be decent looking. It's tough to find 1988 trail boss fenders in decent shape so I hoped that maybe something else would fit.

What did you use to stitch together your cracked fenders? My nephew has that same
problem. I also here JB weld maybe good to use also?

There is about 10 zip ties holding the front together. I drilled holes on each side of the crack all the way down the crack and then threaded zip ties through the holes. It holds together well. The front fender was actually in 2 pieces at one time.

 

I may have a set of fenders to fit that.I will check the shed when weather gets nicer.Just remind me in a day or so.
