anyone know the internet for to check the vin # for an atv?i'm fixin to buy another and want to make sure its lagit.........thanx......

I would be scared to know if they're posted or accessible by the internet. may not be safe to the owner with all the scamming that could go on. IMO

Call the local police or sheriff dept and have them run the vin# for you.

a dealer can tell you who and where it was bought so you should be able to trace it's history if thats what your thinking.
