Unhappy Razor throttle cable freezing up

Two friends of mine have had their throttle cable freeze up today. Temps around 15 degrees. Any one else?? Any solutions??? Both razors are pretty new.

don't use wd-40 or any other water base lube on the cable. you need a cable lubicant and a device to force it down the cable to help lube it and unfreeze it.

Make sure the throttle body butterfly is not dirt contaminated, clean with carb cleaner if needed, this can cause sticking problems. Also check that you have slight slack at pedal, adjust cable if needed. We've had a few sticking because of sand/dirt contamination because filters were not properly maintained. Also check that there are no sharp bends from cable routing to throttle body. OPT

Squirt a syringe of antifreeze down the cable. That's what the snowmobile folks do.
