Really? That's funny. I even owned a Subaru once....and yes, it was a clunky sounding engine. I guess things haven't changed much either because as I left work the other day a fellow employee started up their NEW Subaru right next to me in the parking lot. Sounded like a bucket of bolts! Good cars I'm sure, but I do not like the sounds those engines make.

 

thanks for all the input . guess i'll keep riding and see if i notice the sound go away when my wife starts screaming.
