Polaris Stands Behind Customer
#1
I know that there will be a number of customers that will have had differing outcomes then mine.......
After getting a call for my repair shop that my ranger needed 1300.00 plus in repairs due to
lubrication issues, i called the regional Polaris rep. After explaining that if any thing I over lubed and that there was evidence to show this to be true, Polaris is picking up the whole bill for the repair. A new head and cam and other parts including install.
The machine is almost two years old.
I applaud polaris on supporting products in the market...

I too have had very good luck with Polaris' service. My wifes '99 Trail Boss locked up and was 6 months out of warrenty. I keep in touch with my dealer( salesman that has sold me 3 quads has became a friend of mine) and when it blew they knew it had been taken very good care of. They called Polaris explained the situation and they agreed to pay the whole bill. Works for me.

Yes I agree Polaris is much better than the some of the import companies when it comes to warranty.I had a Wolverine and it broke a part in the crankcase because of a starter motor cog and they all ran a mile .It was no fault of mine and I had heard this problem had occured on others plus the following year they upgraded the case but still I had no support. My buddy has a 99 400 Scrambler that lost a keywey and spun the flywheel sending the timing off and blowing the motor and it was all covered 14 months after warranty.

I to have had about 3 experiences with my 2000 polaris xpedition 425 cc being out of warranty but
factory problems were found and when the polaris dealer reported these problems to polaris, polairs
picked up all or part of the cost. Yes, one time, I had to tell the dealer to contact polaris about an obvious factory problem where one washer was missing and polaris when contacted picked up part of the cost, and that helped. I wonder if the other manufactures give some lee-way or not. SOme might be hard core and just say too bad. We should
give polaris credit for doing this. I am sure that
these examples only scratch the surface of the real no. of people that polaris has helped pay for
the problem! A plus for P O L A R I S!

My experience has been similar. Had a problem with a previous Polaris I owned. Dealer found it was most likely a factory error. They agreed to split the repair costs with me or else let me trade for a new machine, giving me book value as if it were still running. (it needed a total engine re-build). Did I mention it was out of warranty almost a year, and had 6500 miles on it.
My brother had a Honda ATC200 that cooked the cam, about 2 or 3 weeks out of warranty, and the dealer said he never had luck calling the factory. He suggested we try. They weren't very receptive, almost to the point of asking my brother what he did to their engine to cause it to fail.

Polaris seems much better than a lot of companies when it comes to covering out of warranty work. My 99 Mag 500 started leaking coolant from the water pump seal. It was 6-8 months out of warranty. The Polaris mech. called the company and without any hesitation they agreed to cover it. I was real impressed and it influenced my decision to continue buying quads from Polaris.

My Honda 300 acted up from the begining and honda would not even hear of taking care of it, my Yamaha warrior motor went after 3 months it sat in a box, the motor, for six months! waiting for Yamaha to do something. Picture all summer and fall no brand new machine to ride! Yamaha came good but it took forever. My two Polaris machine I am proud to say have not required any work, execpt a torn CV boot.
