It is finally done. I started her up and rode a bit. The trail porting and 12:1 Billet Cool Hed seem to have done the trick. Lots of low end power, mid and top. I did not try her all-out because of trail conditions: slush. The nerfs and foot pegs are great and I love the sound of that FMF Tubine Core II.

Check out the pics on the link below...go to "One bad Scrambler"...

Hey Brian:

That looks good. Like the heading say "One Bad Scrambler". I really like the Nerf Bars. I have been gone for a couple of weeks. Went to Daytona for the race and then to Ocala National Forest to ride for 5 Days. Hit a tree and broke the same $300 worth of parts as last time. I have now hit trees in two state with only 48 more to go. Ready to go to silver lake.

Later KD

BLH... It's a "Shadow Slayer" dagger from United Cutlery. The blade is actually still on the handle and can be seen under the fender. I had it welded to the shift rod. My buddy promply named it the Alien!!!

physcorider, The Razrs seem to pull good when there is traction. In slimy situations or climbing sand hills I was a bit dissapointed. I laughed at a buddy on a YZ400 who got stuck half-way up a sand hill. I zipped by him...only to get stuck 3 feet from the top...spinning the front tires! But I really bought them for turning capability, handling and bumpy trails.

I am soon getting smaller tires for the Scram and will still get Razrs in back but maybe Holshots or Bandits up front. I would need more grip but still keep cornering and handling advantages over the old Titan 489's.

Thanks for the comments guys...I hadn't realized all the work that went into that Scrambler. Now I know the results of asking 100's of questions on these forums!!!
