Default Polaris possible clutch problems

I have an 05 Polaris Scrambler 500 4X4. The quad runs great. When it gets wormed up it feels like the centrifugal clutch is slipping. I have to give half throttle to get it moving and it still slips when i go. I can smell something burning, may be the belt. Anyone know whats wrong or is there an adjustment or is my clutch shot?

when you get your cover off to check the belt look at the secondary clutch as well to see if the plastic shoes are worn out. it will act they same way.

Also, check to make sure the pins on the spring line up on your secondary clutch, if not, need a new spring
