Default So I found this spring.

It's been about 2 years now, but what the hell. I found this spring one day. I am pretty sure it was on the right side of the machine. For the life of me I can not figure out where it goes. The foot brake has a spring on it but seems kinda weak. Not sure if this was second spring for that or what. Once I figure it out I can replace it. Everything on the machine is working Any ideas?
Machine is a 2004 Polaris ATP 500 HO.

I will check the exhaust system. I had checked it a while back using the schematics I found online and I thought they were all there. I'll double check it.

Yea you can visably see where it goes on the muffler end on my SP800 in the rear but I wonder is any other springs are attached behind the plastic going down the exhaust pipe manifold? Anotherwards, are there more then one spring for the exhaust system?

I am pretty sure on every twin and I believe single cylinder enge there are two spring connecting the muffler to to pipe.

No I do not think so only at the muffler.
