trickle charger question
#3
If it is just a trickle charger and not a battery tender, I would not leave it hooked up all the time. A tender will monitor the battery and only charge it when it needs to be charged, but a trickle charger will charge it at a low amp continuously which could lead to overcharging after time. If you do get a tender it will come with a plug that you can hook up to the battery and leave on the ATV so all you have to do is just plug it in when you park it. Just my opinion, hope this helps.

a trickle charger is designed to put a slow charge into the battery where a tender is mae to maintain it when it senses a low charge. make sure the trickle charger if you leave it on has an auto shut off so it won't over chagre the battery and do damage. oh and welcome to the forum.
