I bought a diff off eBay for 369.00 when I opened it up it still had the factory gease on the gears. Don't for get to check for ranger diffs with the same part numbers that's now I found mine.

I have broken the cage and some CVs but never the case. What did you do????

I agree.

It's pretty much a garden tractor diff in an ATV.

I feel bad for you YZHaulR... I've been through it with a crappy front diff. Might as well bite the bitter apple and get a new one.

You can check for power to the front diff,but usually when this happens it's either a cracked roll cage problem,armature plate or both.Updated aluminum roll cages are every where now and about as cheap as the oem plastic ones.Items #10 and 26 on the parts break down.
