The newer AWD system with the single front roller cage are not tough like the old twin hub system when it comes to abuse, the single plastic roller cage can explode even with clean fliud and riding with common sence,let alone no fliud and mud in it.

I feel bad for you YZHaulR... I've been through it with a crappy front diff. Might as well bite the bitter apple and get a new one.

You can check for power to the front diff,but usually when this happens it's either a cracked roll cage problem,armature plate or both.Updated aluminum roll cages are every where now and about as cheap as the oem plastic ones.Items #10 and 26 on the parts break down.
