Winching backwards

Default Winching backwards

HOW many ****** blocks do you have? How to winch backwards

That's pretty cool but it might be cheaper to put a winch on the rear than to buy that many ****** blocks...LOL...Interesting find though..

Its good knowledge to have even though I dont carry 9 ****** blocks.

OH come on look what I did!! F/BRAKE applied I drug the machine backwards onto the lift with no ramp. I have done this with cable and no problems this is why I installed the pully in my tool box in case I need to winch backwards. Name:  IMG_0916.jpg

Do you leave that on all the time?? Looks like it hangs pretty low...Cool idea by the way...

Like I said its in my tool box if I ever need it. It take two small bolts and attaches to the nuts in the lower winch mount,the pulley fits in my hand. I do ride alone sometimes (cheap insurance) when out in bear country. Only bad thing is could get dirty running the rope under the stuck machine

I don't see how the example works if the vehicle is being pulled backwards while the winch is trying to pull forwards. Am I missing something or is the drawing messed up? I think gaspumpcity's idea is probably the cheapest way out.
