If you buy new have the dealer instal a 400 Scrambler primary spring.
If 4x4 is in the books look at the 500 Scrambler
The more I think about it the more I think I want to go with the Trailblazer. I think if I wanted 4x4 I'd just get a Sportsman.

So I have a question about the spring you suggested. What differences will I notice. I assuming better low-end pull. Will it cost me much top-end? Let me know when you get a chance. Sounds like you have a lot of experience with this platform. Thanks!

The white spring will give you a little more stall speed and a little more topend along with better pull.there is a better spring combo for these too.EPI pink primary spring,Aaen blue secondary spring with stock weights or 10WH (46gram stock 500 scrambler weights)
This gives you great low end decent top end and unreal midrange

I will definitely look into that second setup if this all pans out. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sounds awesome. I may be going to the dealer Saturday. If all goes well I'll post some pics. I think the first thing I would do is add the Polaris rear rack. Then do the above mentioned clutchwork in the future. I'll post pics if it works out.

I actually saw that one before. Kind of like the plain boring Polaris rack better myself.

One other thing I forgot to mention, the headlight. Can I just put in a brighter bulb? Is there a kit? I have just read the headlight sucks. I don't want to get to far from the stock look.

what are the performance gains of using a 10 wh(46 gram stock 500 scrambler weights) compared to using a stock weight with the clutch springs mentioned for a polaris trailboss?

thanks,

mike
