Default valve adjustment

I wanna get the valves on my 500efi done they have never been done before. Would getting the valves adjusted solve another problem I have. When it gets warmed up and after some slow speed riding it seems to sputter and shut off and then you have to wait for a long time before it will start again0what would be causing this? Hoping the valve adjustment solves it

its almost like its not getting fuel, it will turn over, but it won't fire at all till after you let it sit for a while

Your service manual will explain how you can check them, or you will have to take it to a dealer.

when it dies check fuel pressure and or spark there is a relay that can go bad and cause this to happen.had a fellow bring in 5oo efi about 2 months ago with same problem.once machine got hot relay quit and it lost fuel pump and spark but would crank fine.
