Default Maxxix Bighorn 2.0 vs Regular

I'm looking into getting new tires for my 850 XP and leaning towards the bighorns since they are a good all around tire. I know the 2.0's are lighter and have a different tread pattern, but do they hols up as well as the regular.
Thanx

Haven't heard of anyone that has thousands of miles on a set of 2.0's yet, so it's hard to say.

You've got an 850... go with the regular Horns. If weight is still a concern, go with 9" all the way around.

On the other hand, I know someone who has over 1,000 miles on his 2.0's, and the show little wear, and he loves the tires.

I like the 2.0 for there light weight and GREAT all around traction. I have seen some last for well over 1500 mils without fail!

kool, i think the regular ones it will be then since i believe also they are a sturdier tire givin the extra weight in them.
Also, has anyone heard of the Pittbull Growler tires, they're made in USA and look to be a good all around tire as well, very narly lookin,,,,, pricier though

I have buddies that have them and they are a great tire but expensive and HEAVY. IMHO the Maxxis BH are a much better deal and have just as good if not better traction.

Hummm. The pitbulls are that much heavier? I guess they claim 8 ply.

I'm going to get some new tires this season too. Tired of getting stuck in the muck. Also tired of my friend's lifted 800 SP leaving me behind in the muck.
