i was thinking about useing the stripped lugnuts and glue them into the hole. or go see if i can cut them in half and if i need to rethread the old studs and thread them on there in the lug nut holes..

well i worked on making my 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1/4" thick alum plate round piece. now tomorrow im gona take a bit off the back side so it still has a lip to make a snug or tight fit so i can glue it into place. im also gona cut the old wheel studs in half and drill out a half inch of the stud holes in the rim so the lug nut fit lower so that the clock arms can go over the top of them. here is an updated pic with the lug nuts and center cap (not finished yet tho).

well i cut the old wheel studs in half so i could cut the lug nuts shorter. this way the lug nuts sit lower in the rim holes. so hopefully when i get the clock parts the clock arms will go righ over the lugnuts now. the center cap has been cut to fit snug into the center of the rim to mount the clock parts to it. and i also made a hangar on the back.

pictures of it almost compleat. gona work on the numbers, and wait for the clock parts.

you are the first to say. no waite. a guy that machined the center cap said so also. but like i said before its either recycle it and get $3 or so dollars or make something outa it and get more. its also not by my choice that i have alota free time. lot my job at the end of 08' been looking for work. but havent had no luck. i did snow plowing this winter. and i just got an email to do 50 ish lawn mowing. so when the grass is growing ill have so much work i wont have time to be dinking with this, or be on here. so im getting it done now. get it dont with or it will be siting in the "to do pile". so get it done and gone. i need the money.

thanks for all the comments guys!!!!
