Bigtwin600.. You will like the zillas, they're a great tire for all around use, had them on my 700 and kept them for the 800. I really can't see how a person could be disappointed with them, they're light, look good, perform well, and ride very smooth considering how aggressive they look. Oh i'm also from mn and i had mud lites prior to these, not even a comparison between the two...

Thanks for the help. I have been trying to pull the trigger on something for awhile and I had narrowed it down to either Duro Power Grips or the Zillla's and I am thinking the Power grips would be smoother on the trail but I think I would rather have the security of the Zillas if it gets muddy. I will probably just be getting the stock 25" size.

Chad1903: The Zillas, in my opinion, are a fantastic tire for all around trail rididng!! In the snow they perform pretty good as well. I took them off for plowing and used the stock ones with chains in the back. The zillas shake the bike pretty good if you are under 8 MPH!!! After that, it is pretty smooth. I don't plow that fast, so that is why I took them off for plowing.

I didn't have the xtr's so I can't compare those, but the mud lite xl's were not nearly as good as the zillas in mud, they plugged up much quicker. Handling was comparable with both, but there were really no downsides to the zillas in comparison to the non-xtr mudlites. The only possible gripe would be a very minor "bump" below 5mph, but you only notice of you really pay close attention.
