Default Fan isn't coming on, but I am not over heating

Does anyone know why my fan is no longer coming on? I have an 07 sportsman 500 Efi. Usually when I ride, even for a little bit I will hear my fan kick on.

I have been on two pretty long rides in the last month or so and my fan has not come on once. My bike hasn't been overheating though?

I have checked the connections (that I can see, just by lifting the cover) and nothing appears cut or damaged. Other then that I don't know what to do or where to look.

if it used to come on and it isnt now I`d be looking at the thermo sensor, i dont have a liquid cooled bike but i`d think its at the bottom of the rad

while the bike is off unplug the plug to the sensor and then turn the key on. the fan should turn on. if not check the fan by running power to it to see if it's bad. w/ the key of as well try moving the fan bladeds by hand to make sure it's free and not being bound up.
