Default 4x4 Shaft Greasing

Can anyone give me a good way to get a grease gun on the fitting for the 4x4 drive shaft. I don't like the fact that their is only one cause i like keeping things greased. I can't get to the fitting b/c of the pull recoil and brake cyl. Was thinking about drilling a hole under the fitting in the skid plate. Any ideas?

your talking the prop shaft that goes from the trand to the front dif? and you talking the u-joint jut in front of the engine? or the grease zerk thats behind the foot brake that allows the shaft to slide. but then again it may be way differnt as im talking about my 2000 sportsman. i noticed on my 08 there is only about a 1/4 of the grease spots that were on my 2000.

I picked up an adaptor at my local Tractor Supply that works good. I'll try to get a part number later.

thanks, will have to look for the adap. it seems typical now in everything (cars, atvs, tractors) that everything is "sealed." i for one want to be able to grease any moving part but that would mean i wouldnt have to buy new parts as soon lol.
