97 400 scrambler with no spark

Default 97 400 scrambler with no spark
I was going to buy a used 4x4 but owner called and said it had no spark. Are there any fast or simple what to tell what it is. He said it was running 2 days ago.

you could take the hood off and follow the wires from the left handlbar and unplug the black wire(this diables the kill switch),other than that try a new plug and check coil connections.
