Scrambler33~
I have the Aggressive($140) kit on my machines. I think the regular($80) kit would be sufficient unless you plan to get a pipe. The helixes are angled to work best with the pipe's operating RPM. I put the AAEN silencer on my Scrambler because the stock one got plugged. After adding that and the K&N, the machine must have been able to get more air in and out of the engine because the power increase was definitely noticeable. I do not know what to tell you about Pipes because WI passed a law banning all aftermarket exhaust systems on ATV's. If you do go for a pipe/silencer combo, definitely get the HPD or RCR. I hesitate reccomending the RCR combo because I have heard it is one of the loudest available and you do not want to attract much attention to you illegal exhaust. Best bang for the buck would have to be the RCR stage 1 kit with the HPD pipe. Jim Malony, from this forum, wrapped his HPD pipe with a header wrap and said it made the pipe quite a bit quieter. When my Scrambler was brand spanking new, it would pull the front wheels on pavement about 12 inches. Now with the K&N, clutch kit, and AAEN silencer, I can gas it and and lift the front end to a wheelie without even pulling up. My Scrambler used to sputter real bad below 3/4 throttle, but I think my dad had the oil pump adjusted or replaced(I'm not sure which) and that cleaned it up for the most part. I have read on this forum that the reed valves will clean up that sputtering. I hope others will respond to your post, as I am mostly stating what I have heard, rather than what I have experience with. From what I have had experience with though, I will tell you the honest to god truth. Do you think I want to say my Scrambler would only top out at 56.4 mph when others are saying they have hit close to 70 with stock machines? I believe in telling the truth on these forums because I hope to have a good reptation for reliable information, and I know others rely on this forum for many repairs and aftermarket parts. Best of luck to you.

When I switched from my RcR setup to HPD (pipe/silencer), I talked to Darrell at HPD. He actusllt talked me out of getting the helix kit. He told me it would be a waste of my money, unless I was into drag racing. You have to admire that, a guy talking you OUT of spending more money on his products. He was very honest. I ended up going with the standard $80 clutch kit.

I would recomend HPDs mid pipe, and the MTD spark arrestor silencer, it's a little quieter than the standard silencer. It also sounds nice, and is not obnoxiously loud. I would also recomend the Delta V-Force reeds, and the RcR air box mod, which you can make at home for next to nothing.
