Default Razor water problems

My buddy has a 2009 Razor, everytime he goes through even small amounts of water, engine starts missing. When going through water about 12 or more inches, the bike just loses all power until it finally dries up. Its not like other bikes that has the belt slippin when wet, it seems to effect the engine. Any suggestions???

I had similar issues with my sportsman, and it turned out to be water getting into the spark plug boot, if it woud happen, I would pull the boot off, and blow it out the best I could and it would usually work fine, so when I got back I put a fair amount of die electric grease in the boot, and on the plug itself, and I had no troubles until about 6 months later when I was in really deep snow, and it happened again, so I put some more grease in there, and it has been fine for almost 2 years now

I had the same problem with my 07 800 and a friend told me to pinch the plug caps with a pair of pliers, that solved the problem for me. I also did the same thing you did with the same success it worked for a while then started acting up again, but this time I was on dry land. So if it happens to you again maybe give that a try.
