Nerf bar questions.
#1
I just saw the pictures with the nerf bars installed. They look really cool and would seem to be more functional than my current set up.
What brand and model did you use. How about the footpegs themselves? Does this make using the rear brake easier? Any info you can give would be appreciated.

I used DG alloy, Banshee model. I cut all the floorboard supports of and had the brake lever heated and bent downwards for easier use. I basically took 1" steel tubing and welded it strait to the frame about 1/2" to 1" forward of where the stock back support was. That leaft me enough room to install the nerfs about 1/4" behind. I could not leave that stock back support for the peg because the nerf would have been to close to the back tire.
I angled the last 1 1/2" upwards to keep my feet in the right spots and just rivitted those stock aluminum pegs to the tube.
